National Museum of Science and Technology
The National Museum of Science and Technology is located at 1865 St. Laurent Blvd., Ottawa, Ontario. JSCM provided construction management services to their establishment. Ensuring the corporation can continue to foster scientific and technological literacy throughout Canada.
The scope of this project included: Demolition of existing landscaped and parking surfaces, Removal of some trees and light standards, Civil and landscaping works, Construction of a new vehicle entrance, Construction of a new parking area in front, Renovation of the parking area at the back of the Museum building, parking meters, and installing EV charging stations. JSCM’s responsibilities included: the quality control, inspection and contract administration of the design and construction program, including review and assistance of the construction tendering process, management and coordination of all design disciplines and design related specialists.
